Resilient, Innovator, Sustainable, Engaged Community - Rise Community

Our focus will be on actions to face the impacts of climate change on mental and psychological health through emotional education based on Neurolinguistic Programming - NLP techniques. Assuming that the first scale of impacts is limited to the physical dimension, this is where mental health plays an important role in maintaining emotional control in order to generate clarity of thoughts and strategies for coping with the situation. In addition to the increase in injuries and trauma, loss of life and property, involuntary displacement caused by extreme events, situations of very intense stress and anxiety generate in the affected population, especially among the most vulnerable by age or gender, an important trigger of several mental illnesses in different severity ranges leading to fear, agony, anguish, depression, impotence, and consequently the so-called climatic despair and even suicide.
