In the sixteenth round of Grand Challenges Explorations, proposals were solicited that targeted the following challenges: understanding the global burden of antimicrobial resistance, new solutions in global health priority areas, gut health through bacteriophage, and measuring digital financial services. The first two challenges are new this round, although the second is a more focused version of a past-run challenge.
